Bakewell Visitor Centre is fully accessible and ideally placed to welcome you to Bakewell and the  ‘White Peak’ when you arrive.  Fully accessible, the Centre is a joint venture between the Peak District National Park Authority and Derbyshire Dales District Council and is located in the atmospheric 17th Century Old Market Hall.  The Landscape Detectives interactive exhibition on the mezzanine floor offers the opportunity for visitors to learn and understand about this special area of the National Park.

Castleton Visitor Centre is fully accessible and perfect for anyone exploring the wonders of the Peak.    This Visitor Centre, a joint venture between the Peak District National Park Authority and the Castleton Historical Society, is ideally placed in Castleton at the heart of the Hope Valley.  The museum exhibition is unique to the area and interactive displays tell the story of this special landscape.  The tremendous views from the Winnats, on the shoulder of the ‘Dark Peak’ must rank as some of the finest in Britain – and you can experience the view by taking part in a breathtaking flight in a hand glider, keeping your feet firmly on the ground, at Castleton Visitor Centre.

The Moorland Centre is fully accessible with disabled facilities available.  The centre lies at the heart of the Vale of Edale and is ideally placed near the start of the Pennine Way.  This flagship centre of the Moors For the Future Partnership is a focal point for visitors and ramblers in Edale.  The exhibitions and interactive displays offer an important learning experience to visitors, a national focus for moorland research and facilities for all to enjoy.  Take a stroll with ‘The Keeper’ and find out how this wilderness is really managed…

The Upper Derwent Visitor Centre acts as a focus for the two million walkers, cyclists and visitors that make the journey to this beautiful valley each year.  The visitor centre can accommodate wheelchair users with disabled facilities adjacent to the centre.  Just 500 metres from the Derwent Dam, the centre is situated at the heart of the Howden, Derwent and Ladybower Reservoirs complex.  The centre, a joint venture between the Peak District National Park Authority and Severn Trent Water forms part of a visitor complex including cycle hire, refreshment kiosk and ranger services.  Visitors can explore the fascinating history of the valley, take part in the range of activities available or just enjoy the refreshments.
